It was my own experiences with grief - unexpected, profound, devastating - that inspired me to help others along their grief journey.
I firmly believe that there is a lesson in every situation, even the most painful circumstances can produce growth and help light the way to destinations more beautiful than we'd ever imagined.
I understand the ebbs and flows of grief. It's not linear, but it is a journey - a passage, not a homeland. I would love to walk with you as you allow the dark spaces to do the necessary work they perform, until you reach brighter days.
I have authored four books around the subjects of grief, loss, resilience, suicide prevention, and cultivating joy - with more to come!
According to an African Proverb, "If you want to go fast, go alone. If you want to go far, go together."
There is so much power in shared experiences, as well as the ability to empathize with experiences that are different from our own. Most people can survive a solitary existence. Our goal is to thrive. To accomplish that, we welcome more love, more light, more understanding, and stronger connections.
